On October 4, 1996, the Lord did something special in my life to bring about a true change in me. This change is so radical that I will never be the same. I would like to take this opportunity to share with you how God brought this about in my life.
There Had to Be Answers-Jack Hammond
My name is Jack Hammond, and this is my story. I was born in Allentown in 1967, and I grew up in a fairly religious home, though we didn’t attend church on a regular basis. Many times my grandmother, who was very faithful to go, took my sister and me as much as she could. I can remember when my mom and stepdad finally made the decision to go regularly. That lasted for a few years, but tapered off when the pastor, who my parents really liked, moved on.
God Finally Got My Attention-Randy Frederick
My name is Randy Frederick, and this is my story. I was raised in a church-going family. Mom and Dad were very strict. They never missed a service and were very active in church. Until I was 13 years of age, I never questioned the rituals and teaching.

I was born February 9, 1934, to parents of two different faiths. My father was an alcoholic and not a church-goer. Mother, on the other hand, did have some religious background, but did not have us children baptized when we were young. She thought it would be better if we chose our own religion when we were old enough to make that choice.
I Knew There Was a God,

As a child I grew up in the projects (low income housing). I went to Sunday School sometimes, but never really understood what was being taught to me. I knew there was a God, but that is as far as it went with me.
I Didn’t Know Where I Stood with God

As far back in my life as I can remember, I always went to a United Church of Christ every Sunday. As a young child, I had some bizarre ideas about God and my relationship with Him. As I got older, the ideas didn’t change much. Although I attended both Sunday school and church, and was confirmed as a teenager, I never learned the teachings of the Bible, nor did I have the desire to learn them.
