What We Believe

A church is a local body of Scripturally baptized believers who assemble together for the purpose of carrying out the great commission of Matthew 28:19-20. As a Baptist Church, we believe in salvation through the shed blood of Jesus Christ only. No good works, no rituals, no church membership, etc., will suffice. “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.” (Acts 16:31) After receiving Jesus Christ as Saviour, the believer should be baptized by immersion by a Scriptural New Testament Church.

The Bible(KJV) is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. It should be studied, memorized, and most of all, practiced. In this way the believer will have an abundant and fruitful Christian life.

We are not Calvinists nor Arminian. We believe the Bible teaches that men can not save themselves but they can, under the convicting power of the Holy Spirit, call upon Jesus Christ to save them.
